1. About Comfort For Drive

Comfort For Drive provides self-drive car rental services in Coimbatore and surrounding areas. We also provide a platform through which eligible vehicle owners can list or attach their vehicles and earn income from eligible bookings.

2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

To rent or drive a vehicle through Comfort For Drive, you must:

• Be at least 23 years of age or above.
• Hold a valid Driving License appropriate for the vehicle being rented.
• Provide 3 Original IDs at the time of pickup (Aadhar & Driving License are compulsory).
• Provide accurate and complete personal information.
• Meet our verification and eligibility requirements.
• Comply with all applicable traffic, motor vehicle and other laws.

Comfort For Drive reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel a booking if a customer does not satisfy our eligibility or verification requirements.

3. Account Registration

Certain services may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your account information updated.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and OTPs.
• Not allow another person to use your account.
• Immediately inform us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account unless caused by circumstances outside your reasonable control.

4. Self-Drive Car Rental

4.1 Vehicle Booking

Customers may select available vehicles through our website or platform based on the available options, dates, times and rental conditions.

A booking is considered confirmed only after an advance payment of ₹1,000 is received and Comfort For Drive provides confirmation through the applicable booking or communication channel. Kindly check vehicle availability before making the advance payment.

Availability displayed on the platform may change until the booking is successfully confirmed.

4.2 Rental Period

The customer must collect and return the vehicle according to the agreed booking date, time and location.

Any extension of the rental period must be approved by Comfort For Drive.

Continuing to use a vehicle beyond the agreed rental period without authorization may result in additional charges and other action permitted under these Terms.

4.3 Customer Verification

Before handing over a vehicle, Comfort For Drive may verify:

• 3 Original IDs (Aadhar & Driving License compulsory)
• Valid Driving Licence
• Age verification (minimum 23 years)
• Booking details and payment status
• Co-passenger ID (required for outstation customers at pickup)
• Other information reasonably required for the rental

We reserve the right to deny vehicle delivery where the required documents are invalid, incomplete, expired, inconsistent, or otherwise unacceptable.

4.4 Vehicle Inspection

The vehicle may be inspected before and after the rental period.

Customers may be required to acknowledge the vehicle's condition before taking possession.

Any existing damage should be reported to Comfort For Drive before the vehicle is used.

If new damage is identified after the rental, the customer may be responsible for the applicable repair or recovery costs, subject to the circumstances and applicable policies.

4.5 Permitted Use of the Vehicle

The rented vehicle must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

The customer must:

• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Drive carefully and responsibly.
• Use the vehicle only for the purpose agreed with Comfort For Drive.
• Ensure that only authorized drivers operate the vehicle.
• Keep the vehicle reasonably clean and secure.
• Take reasonable precautions to prevent theft, damage or misuse.
• Follow all vehicle-specific instructions provided by Comfort For Drive.

4.6 Prohibited Use

Customers must not use the rented vehicle:

• For illegal activities.
• For racing, speed testing or competitive driving.
• For driving instruction unless expressly authorized.
• For carrying prohibited or illegal goods.
• For transporting hazardous materials without authorization.
• For towing or pushing another vehicle unless expressly permitted.
• For commercial passenger transportation unless specifically authorized.
• For sub-renting or lending the vehicle to another person.
• Outside permitted geographical areas, where restrictions apply.
• While under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs driving ability.
• In any manner that may damage the vehicle or endanger people or property.

Comfort For Drive may take appropriate action if a vehicle is used in violation of these Terms.

5. Authorized Drivers

Only the customer or other drivers expressly approved by Comfort For Drive may operate the rented vehicle.

The customer must not allow an unauthorized person to drive the vehicle.

The customer may remain responsible for any loss, damage, penalty, claim or liability arising from the use of the vehicle by an unauthorized driver.

6. Fuel, Charging and Operating Costs

Fuel is at the customer's cost. Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking:

• The customer is responsible for all fuel or charging costs incurred during the rental period.
• The vehicle should be returned according to the applicable fuel or charge level requirements.
• Additional fuel, charging, service or related charges may apply if the vehicle is returned outside the agreed condition.

Any specific fuel, charging or operating policy applicable to a particular vehicle will take precedence over this general provision.

7. Traffic Fines, Tolls and Penalties

All toll charges, traffic fines and parking penalties are at the customer's cost. The customer is responsible for all such charges incurred during the rental period as a result of the customer's use of the vehicle.

Where Comfort For Drive receives a notice or penalty relating to the customer's rental period, we may recover the applicable amount from the customer along with any reasonable administrative or processing charges, where applicable.

8. Accidents, Damage and Breakdown

In the event of an accident, collision, theft, breakdown or other emergency, the customer must:

1. Ensure the safety of all persons involved.
2. Contact emergency services where necessary.
3. Notify Comfort For Drive as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Cooperate with police, insurance providers and Comfort For Drive.
5. Provide accurate information regarding the incident.
6. Not admit liability or make unauthorized settlement arrangements on behalf of Comfort For Drive or the vehicle owner.

Customers must not arrange major repairs or modifications to the vehicle without prior authorization, except where reasonably necessary to protect life or prevent further serious damage.

9. Insurance

Vehicles provided through Comfort For Drive may be covered by applicable motor insurance, subject to the specific policy terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of the relevant insurance provider.

Insurance coverage does not automatically mean that all damages, losses, penalties or expenses are fully covered.

The customer may remain responsible for applicable deductibles, exclusions, unauthorized use, policy violations, negligence, prohibited use, or other amounts not covered by insurance.

The specific insurance terms applicable to a booking may vary by vehicle.

10. Security Deposit

Comfort For Drive requires a refundable security deposit of ₹5,000. The deposit amount will be returned immediately upon vehicle return after inspection.

The security deposit is mandatory for outstation customers. For Coimbatore surrounding customers, a bike must be parked at our office while picking up the car.

The security deposit may be used or adjusted toward eligible amounts such as:

• Vehicle damage
• Missing items
• Excess cleaning
• Fuel or charging differences
• Late return charges
• Traffic fines or penalties
• Tolls
• Unauthorized use
• Recovery costs
• Other amounts payable under the rental agreement

11. Booking Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on:

• The vehicle booked
• Booking date and duration
• Time of cancellation
• Promotional offers
• Payment method
• Specific cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking

Any cancellation charges will be communicated or displayed through the applicable booking process.

Comfort For Drive reserves the right to establish different cancellation policies for different vehicles, offers or booking categories.

12. Late Return

Vehicles must be returned at the agreed date, time and location.

Late returns will result in the following extra hours charges:

• ₹300 per hour – 5 Seater Vehicles
• ₹400 per hour – 7 Seater Vehicles
• Extra hours are calculated up to 4 hours only.
• Beyond 4 hours will be converted to full day rent.

A daily travel limit of 300 Kms per day is included. Additional kilometres will be charged at ₹10 per Km for all 5 Seater cars and ₹15 per Km for all 7 Seater cars.

If a customer expects to be late, they must contact Comfort For Drive as soon as possible.

An extension is not considered approved unless confirmed by Comfort For Drive.

13. Early Return

If a customer returns the vehicle before the end of the booked rental period, a refund for the unused period is not guaranteed unless specifically provided under the applicable booking or cancellation policy.

14. Vehicle Availability and Substitution

Although we make reasonable efforts to provide the vehicle selected during booking, circumstances such as maintenance, accidents, breakdowns, operational requirements or other unforeseen events may affect vehicle availability.

Where reasonably possible, Comfort For Drive may provide an alternative vehicle of a similar category or offer another appropriate solution.

15. Vehicle Owner Program – Attach Your Car & Earn

Comfort For Drive may allow eligible vehicle owners to attach their cars to our platform and earn income from eligible bookings.

Participation is subject to vehicle verification, owner verification, documentation requirements and acceptance by Comfort For Drive.

Approval of a vehicle is at the discretion of Comfort For Drive and may depend on factors including:

• Vehicle age
• Vehicle condition
• Vehicle model and category
• Registration status
• Insurance status
• Required documentation
• Location
• Demand
• Safety and operational requirements

16. Vehicle Owner Requirements

Vehicle owners must provide accurate and valid information about their vehicle.

Owners may be required to provide:

• Registration Certificate (RC)
• Valid insurance
• Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, where applicable
• Vehicle photographs
• Identification documents
• Ownership-related documents
• Bank/payment details
• Other documents reasonably required by Comfort For Drive

Vehicle owners must notify Comfort For Drive if there is any change to the vehicle's ownership, registration, insurance, condition, legal status or other material information.

17. Vehicle Condition and Maintenance

Vehicle owners are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition unless a separate written arrangement states otherwise.

Vehicles may be subject to inspection before being approved or during their participation in the platform.

Comfort For Drive may temporarily suspend a vehicle from availability if it is considered unsafe, poorly maintained, damaged, non-compliant or otherwise unsuitable for rental.

18. Vehicle Owner Earnings

Vehicle owners may earn income based on eligible bookings involving their vehicles.

The amount payable to a vehicle owner may depend on factors including:

• Rental duration
• Booking value
• Applicable platform/service fees
• Taxes
• Discounts or promotions
• Refunds or cancellations
• Damage or recovery adjustments
• Other applicable deductions or charges

The applicable earning structure, commission, platform fee or settlement terms may be communicated separately to vehicle owners.

Comfort For Drive reserves the right to update its pricing, commission and settlement structure with reasonable notice where applicable.

19. Vehicle Owner Payments

Payments to vehicle owners will be processed according to the applicable settlement schedule and subject to:

• Successful completion or settlement of eligible bookings
• Applicable deductions
• Refunds or cancellations
• Disputed transactions
• Verification requirements
• Applicable taxes or statutory deductions

Owners are responsible for providing correct bank or payment information.

Comfort For Drive is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information supplied by the vehicle owner or by third-party banking/payment systems.

20. Vehicle Owner Authorization

By attaching a vehicle to our platform, the vehicle owner authorizes Comfort For Drive to display eligible vehicle information on the platform and facilitate bookings for the vehicle according to the applicable owner agreement.

The vehicle owner must have the legal right and necessary authority to make the vehicle available through the platform.

If a vehicle is jointly owned, financed, leased, or subject to any third-party restriction, the owner is responsible for obtaining any required permissions or approvals.

21. Vehicle Documents and Compliance

Vehicle owners are responsible for maintaining valid documents required for lawful operation of the vehicle.

This may include:

• Registration
• Insurance
• PUC certification
• Permits
• Fitness certification, where applicable
• Tax-related requirements
• Other documents required under applicable law

Comfort For Drive may suspend a vehicle until expired or incomplete documentation is updated.

22. Prohibited Vehicle Listings

Vehicle owners must not attach or list a vehicle that:

• They do not legally own or control.
• Has invalid or expired required documents.
• Is stolen or unlawfully obtained.
• Is subject to undisclosed legal restrictions.
• Is unsafe or unroadworthy.
• Contains materially inaccurate information.
• Is otherwise prohibited under applicable law or Comfort For Drive policies.

23. Platform Content

Information, text, images, logos, graphics, software and other content made available through the Comfort For Drive platform may be owned by or licensed to Comfort For Drive.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

Vehicle owners and customers must ensure that any content they submit to the platform does not infringe the rights of another person.

24. User-Submitted Information

By submitting photographs, vehicle information, reviews, feedback or other content to Comfort For Drive, you confirm that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the necessary rights to provide the content.
• The content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

You grant Comfort For Drive permission to use such content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve our services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

25. Reviews and Feedback

Customers and vehicle owners may be given the opportunity to provide ratings, reviews or feedback.

Reviews must be genuine and must not contain:

• False or misleading information
• Threats or abusive content
• Personal information of others
• Illegal or defamatory content
• Promotional spam
• Content intended to manipulate ratings

Comfort For Drive may remove or restrict content that violates these requirements or applicable law.

26. Communications

By using our services, you agree that Comfort For Drive may contact you through:

• Phone calls
• SMS
• WhatsApp
• Email
• Platform notifications
• Other communication methods you provide

Communications may relate to bookings, payments, verification, vehicle availability, account activity, support, security and service updates.

27. Third-Party Services

Our platform may integrate with third-party services, including payment gateways, mapping services, communication platforms, verification providers, insurance providers, technology providers and other service providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Comfort For Drive is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, availability or security of third-party services that we do not control.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Comfort For Drive will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Road closures
• Traffic conditions
• Strikes or civil disturbances
• Third-party service failures
• Telecommunications or internet failures
• Banking or payment gateway failures
• Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical failures not caused by our negligence
• Actions or omissions of customers, vehicle owners or third parties

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

29. Customer Responsibility for Loss or Damage

A customer may be responsible for losses, costs, damages, penalties or expenses resulting from:

• Negligent driving
• Unauthorized use
• Violation of traffic laws
• Use by an unauthorized driver
• Prohibited use
• Failure to secure the vehicle
• Misuse of the vehicle
• Intentional or reckless conduct
• Failure to report an accident or damage promptly
• False or misleading information provided to Comfort For Drive

The exact responsibility may depend on the circumstances, applicable insurance coverage, rental agreement and applicable law.

30. Suspension or Termination

Comfort For Drive may suspend, restrict or terminate access to an account or vehicle listing where reasonably necessary, including if:

• These Terms are violated.
• False or misleading information is provided.
• Required documents are invalid or unavailable.
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
• Payments are not completed.
• The vehicle is unsafe or unsuitable.
• The platform or service is misused.
• Required by law or a government authority.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice before taking such action.

31. Disputes and Complaints

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding a booking, vehicle, payment, damage, settlement or other service, please contact Comfort For Drive first so that we can review the matter.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints fairly based on the relevant records, documents, booking information and applicable policies.

32. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

33. Changes to These Terms

Comfort For Drive may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology or applicable laws.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of our services after the updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

35. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable booking terms, rental agreement, vehicle-owner agreement, policies and other terms displayed or communicated by Comfort For Drive, constitute the applicable agreement governing your use of our services.

Where a specific written agreement or booking-specific term conflicts with these general Terms, the specific applicable agreement or booking term may prevail to the extent stated in that agreement.

37. Car Rental Policy – Quick Reference

The following practical terms and charges apply to all self-drive car rentals through Comfort For Drive, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.

Travel Limit

• 300 Kms per day included.
• Additional Kms Charges:
  • ₹10 per Km (All 5 Seater Cars)
  • ₹15 per Km (All 7 Seater Cars)

Extra Hours Charges

• ₹300 per hour – 5 Seater Vehicles
• ₹400 per hour – 7 Seater Vehicles
• Extra hours calculated up to 4 hours only.
• Beyond 4 hours will be converted to full day rent.

Office Working Hours

• 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Documents Required

Security Deposit

• Car will be blocked only after ₹1,000 advance payment.
• Kindly check vehicle availability before making advance payment.
