What is the eligibility to book an online self-drive car in Coimbatore?
- The customer must be 24 years or above.
- The customer must have the original Driving Licence and valid ID proof, such as an Aadhaar Card or Passport.
- Foreign nationals must have an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with a valid Driving Licence.
- The name on the booking and the name on the Driving Licence must be the same.
How many kilometres can I drive per day?
You can drive up to 300 kilometres per day during your rental period.
What is the minimum booking duration?
The minimum booking duration is 12 hours.
Are parking, toll and state fees included in the rental price?
No. Parking fees, toll fees and applicable state entry fees must be paid by the customer.Payment must be made in advance through our app, website, or the payment link shared by our support team.
What is the maximum speed allowed?
The maximum permitted speed is 80 km/hr.If the speed limit is exceeded, two warnings will be provided. After that, the customer may be liable for applicable fines.
Can I take the rental car to another country?
No. International travel is not permitted with Comfort For Drive rental vehicles.
Are there any places where I cannot take the rental car?

Can I book a car for home delivery?
Yes. Home delivery is available in accessible areas. Additional delivery charges will apply depending on your location.

Yes, you can request an extension based on vehicle availability. Additional charges will apply for the extended rental period.
What documents do I need when collecting the car?
You must carry your original Driving Licence and valid ID proof. The details should match the information provided during booking.
Can someone else drive the rental car?
Only customers who meet the required eligibility criteria and have the necessary valid documents are permitted to drive the rental vehicle. Please contact our support team if you need to add another driver.
What happens if I receive a traffic fine?
Any traffic fines or penalties incurred during your rental period are the customer’s responsibility.
What should I do if the car breaks down?
Please contact the Comfort For Drive support team immediately. Our team will guide you on the next steps and provide assistance.
What happens if I return the car late?
Please inform our support team as soon as possible if you expect to be late. Additional charges may apply depending on the delay.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
Yes. You can contact our support team to request a cancellation or modification. Any applicable charges or refunds will be handled according to our Cancellation Policy.
Can I use the car for outstation travel?
Yes, outstation travel is allowed, subject to our rental terms and permitted destinations. However, prohibited locations and terrains cannot be accessed using our rental vehicles.
